Aspirational & Extraordinary describes the woman, La Faye Baker, behind the brand. She’s resilient, relentless, true to the craft and all about changing the imbalance of gender behind the scene.

Ms. Baker has been classified as an innovator, one who thinks outside the box and believes anything is attainable. More importantly she sustains the belief that challenges force her to remain true to her purpose regardless of the obstacles. Three words that motivate and stimulate her mind are “conceive, believe, and achieve!" She believes that all things are possible through Faith and the substance of things hoped for!

 

She was introduced to the entertainment business at an early age by making history as a Guinness Book Record Holder. Ms. Baker twirled 58 Hula Hoops at one time on national television! After her debut of representing Wham-O and traveling she knew that the entertainment business was her career of choice. She has now been in the entertainment business for 25+ years, stunt doubling for many of Hollywood’s A-listers. She also works very diligently to recognize women in the stunt industry.

 

La Faye Baker is the founder of the Action Icon Stuntwomen’s Awards & Conference event. The Action Icon Awards was created to bring awareness and recognize stuntwomen, sports enthusiasts, and Hollywood A-listers.

Now, she’s empowering women through StuntWoman Activewear, a line that elevates and represents greatness for women of action. This line is meant to empower stuntwoman across the world and embrace their unapologetic feminism!
